Dedicated during a Sept. 16 ceremony, the McElveen Rotunda, located on the third floor of the DiGiorgio Campus Center, honors McElveen '43 for her longtime support of her alma mater. McElveen, a 20-year member of Winthrop's Board of Trustees, was the first woman and Winthrop alumna to serve as board chairperson.
