Physical Education Teacher Program Named Best in the State

Abstract
HIGHLIGHTS SCAHPERD noted that the program "has provided a consistent tradition in preparing physical education teachers" and "provided innumerable quality teachers" in the field. Two Winthrop alumni in the field were recognized with Teacher of the Year awards: Karen Roof '87, 92 and Kim Perry '97.
