For 20 years, Hautzig, formerly of the Peabody Conservatory, has given master classes at Winthrop. Hautzig, along with his two teachers Mieczyslaw Munz and Artur Schnabel, is hailed as one of the last pianists of those often associated with Golden Age of the piano.
