Abstract

In this study during summer 2022, the objective was to examine the movement of acetylcholine ions through single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). Previous experiments have demonstrated pore blocking events which occur through carbon nanotubes with applied voltages. Data previously obtained by trials using sodium chloride and choline chloride at various pH levels show that ionic mobility (?) is dependent on hydrogen ion concentration [H+]. Data acquired for acetylcholine ions during Summer Fellows agree with the previous data for sodium chloride and choline chloride.
